Mountain-hopping and mountain-climbing
with a Nested Evolution Strategy
Who wants to climb the highest mountain in many dimensions stands before the problem that the space between the hills is quasi infinite. It is possible to show mathematically that, for many dimensions, uniform convex regions (spheres of influence) tend to vanish in the total volume.
The Evolution Strategist believes in an order of the hills, for instance a hill of the hills. He will use a Nested Evolution Strategy. Starting from a peak a population generates 3 offspring populations (founder populations in biology). These climb during their isolation the hills of influence. The highest population abandons again 3 offspring-populations in the neightbor surroundings. This walking procession from peak to peak within an ordered hill scenery is named "Meta-Evolution".
